John Arnott, owner and operator, has been in business in East County San Diego since 1978. He has built an excellent reputation for quality, creativity, craftsmanship and getting the job done in a safe and cost effective manner. John is a signmaker today because of his early discovery of being artistically inclined at a very young age. By the age of 12, he was painting full-color murals on neighbors’ walls and lettering “Susie for President” banners in elementary school.

In addition to applying his artistic ability to the sign industry, he is also a fine artist and enjoys plein air landscapes and nude oil paintings. John also enjoys and has restored over 30 antique safes, complete with oil paintings, gold leaf lettering and pinstriping, for banks, cities, locksmiths and private individuals.

John’s wife Nita assists in the sign shop as needed. Nita has been on 20 ft. scaffolding to letter walls, in addition to assisting in production and installing signs, laying gold, weeding vinyl, picking up supplies, paying bills, answering phones, making appointments, and keeping the candy jar full.

We offer state-of-the-art computer graphics, including computer-cut vinyl, digital printing and CNC routing.

Our specialties are hand painting, logo design, graphic design, 3-dimensional signs, free standing signs, monument signs, hand carving, sandblasting, gold leafing, interior and exterior murals, storefronts, window lettering, pinstriping and vehicle lettering.
